Michael Hoscheit concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, contracts, real estate, estate planning, and civil and criminal litigation. Michael joined HMMC in 2019 and came to the firm with four years’ experience in civil and criminal litigation. Prior to joining HMMC, Michael worked for three years as a prosecutor with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office where he handled felony, misdemeanor, and traffic cases. As a prosecutor, Michael conducted numerous trials, both bench and jury. More recently, Michael served as litigation counsel for a publicly traded real estate holding company handling corporate contracts, regulatory, and compliance matters as well as serving as lead counsel on all civil litigation pending in Kane, DuPage, and Cook County.
 

Michael is a native of St. Charles. He graduated from St. Charles East High School in 2008 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Butler University in 2012. During his time there, he also played on the Butler baseball team for 4 years. Michael attended law school at the University of Notre Dame, earning his Juris Doctor in 2015.
 

Michael is an active member of his community, serving as an elected official on the St. Charles Park District Board of Commissioners. Michael and his family reside in St. Charles.
